What can I possibly say to thank you and the staff at Silver Swan for all that they did the day of our wedding? We knew the first time we saw the Silver Swan that it is where we needed to have our wedding but nothing could have prepared us for just how beautiful it actually was. You all worked your tails off for us! The tables and the centerpieces you put together for us, the ceremony space, all of the extra touches you had done for us like the flowers on the mantle and the extra center pieces on the cocktail tables... Perfection! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
You know, what was the most incredible thing to me all night was not that every single guest was coming up to Kyle and I saying how gorgeous the Silver Swan was (well, because we already knew that!) but, when we looked around and there wasn't one single thing that I had to worry about or even think about doing or fixing... That made it for me. We worked so hard planning everything and then, like it or not, it is in other peoples hands on the day of the wedding. I can not think of better hands to be in than Silver Swan's.
You all catered to us all day long. Before and during the wedding there were staff there...they were absolutely fantastic! They were asking me if there was anything I needed, making sure my wedding party and mom were happy... they were teriffic and all I can say is thank you! Even after the wedding was over the staff helped clean up and break down the space so we could have a little more time with our families instead of worrying about getting everything together to take home... I can't tell you how things like that truly make a difference in your day.
Overall, I can't say enough good things about our day and the Silver Swan... Everybody always tell you to just expect that something is going to go wrong on your wedding day but honestly, with all of you there, it was the most perfect day I've ever had. Nothing, not one of the things we planned went wrong. In fact, you and your staff made it better than we could have ever dreamed it! You were all incredible! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! You made the day of our lives... truly.

As a mother-of-the-bride whose daughter recently married at the Silver Swan on September 5, 2011, I cannot say enough nice things about both the Silver Swan Venue and the Staff. The compliments from friends and family just keep coming in! Everyone commented that the Chesapeake Bay is indeed a beautiful place for an outdoor wedding. We chose the Silver Swan because it was all inclusive. I did not have to find a caterer, rent a tent, rent chairs etc. The Event Coordinator and her staff handled all of the details, were very professional and responded to any and all questions I had in a timely manner. The Tent area was a perfect place to dance and to take shelter from the rain, and the Dining area was a cozy place to eat and to be with our guests. The Staff accommodated our every need. The Chef and his staff did an outstanding job on the dinner preparations, and our menu selections were prepared exceptionally well. The wait staff kept the Hors D'oeuvres coming, and everyone was raving how delicious they were. The Swan has a Vendor list of those people they work with on a continual basis that they recommend. We did hire several of their Vendors and were extremely pleased. I would like to thank the entire Silver Swan staff who worked hard to ensure my daughter's wedding day was beyond her expectations. I hope to have another event at The Swan in the near future.

I wanted to sincerely thank you for helping us host the best wedding we could ever imagine. We really have received nothing but amazing compliments from all of our guests with most stating it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Not only did my now husband and I have the best time, we couldn’t have had a better setting.
Just to start, I know we had questions and worries because of the changes and at the time we really were nervous but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Every change made only bettered our day. The change in chefs was well worth it. The new chef went above and beyond to take the food we imagined and make it even better. The buffet served only warm food and every guest that left had a heaping plate that looked beautiful! Most brides don’t eat but oh my gosh did I! I almost ate too much but couldn’t help myself it was so good. It was exactly like the tasting even when it was made for over 150 people.
The staff changes also made for the best experience. The manager worked to make sure that every question we had was answered and that the day ran as smooth as could be. I know it’s hard to believe but it went completely according to every plan we had. Even the small annoying requests that my family and I made were met. Any changes we requested were made and they were so flexible and accommodating.
I don’t know how to say anything more than it was the perfect day, at the perfect place, with the prettiest views on the east coast! We even had family from Georgia say that they wanted to vacation here because of the amazing sunset they saw at our wedding. I can’t thank the staff at Silver Swan enough for making the day above and beyond our expectations and extinguishing any worry we had. I truly had the best day of my life all with the help of our family, friends and the Silver Swan team.

If you are thinking about getting married at Silver Swan Bayside, DO IT!!! We were married there on August 12, 2011 and it was a dream come true! From the moment we booked our date with Silver Swan I began to have visions of how my wedding would turn out. All of the staff at Silver Swan exceeded my expectations. There isn’t anything they wouldn’t do for us, or for our guests. From the ceremony on the lawn, the cocktail reception, the dinner, the set up, the food, the music, everything was perfect. Even the bridal boat was set up with everything and anything we could’ve wanted.
I’m someone who asks a lot questions, and I always like to know everything in advance. My wedding coordinator did a wonderful job making sure I always had answers to my questions and that I felt at ease with all the decisions that have to be made when planning a wedding. They even changed chefs over the winter and I was worried that our food from our initial tasting wouldn’t be the same. She allowed us to come in and do second tasting with the new chef, and our menu turned out even better thanks to his expert suggestions. I’ve received so many calls and emails from our guests letting us know how much they loved the food. Without a doubt, it was a 5-star meal! Many of our guests even told me that it was one of THE best weddings they had ever been to.
I would also recommend to the bride that when you make your grand entrance, walk down the boardwalk and not the aisle. I walked the boardwalk and to me, it just made a huge difference, and made for beautiful pictures.
I could go on and on about how much I loved my wedding and my experience with Silver Swan. They made my dream wedding a reality and for that, I will be forever grateful. When we were looking for a place to have our wedding we came across the Silver Swan Bayside, and knew it was perfect when we first got there. Silver Swan is the most unique and beautiful setting. You do have to take a risk when you choose to get married at an outdoor reception, and we got very lucky with beautiful weather. Silver Swan does have a great tented area as part of their venue that would have been beautiful for a rainy day too.
The staff at Silver Swan were all very nice and helpful. Overall the planning went pretty smoothly. We hit a bump in the road when the staff (our wedding coordinator and chef) changed a month before our wedding, which freaked us out at first. But, the new manager and the rest of the staff at the Silver Swan are wonderful, hardworking, and pulled through and put together the same amazing wedding for us that we were planning.
The changes that were made at Silver Swan actually seemed to; perhaps, even upgrade our wedding. We know they were trying to improve and make changes at Silver Swan which produced even a more amazing venue.
All of the food was absolutely incredible. The new chef definitely impressed us with his ability, creativity, and flexibility. Everyone was talking about the food! We couldn’t believe how amazing the appetizers were, and the entrée was just as amazing as the day we tasted it. The food and bartenders were flawless.
The staff is an asset to the Silver Swan. They did a great job with making us feel stress free. They were so flexible, accommodating and ready to do any extra favor for us, which really made the Silver Swan better than any other venue we considered. We couldn’t have hoped that our wedding day would go any better. It was the best day of our lives, and the people at Silver Swan helped to make it that amazing. We wouldn’t change a thing and are so happy we chose such a beautiful place to have our wedding.
