2011 Silver Swan Bayside Wedding Reviews
I just wanted to take a moment, now that I have had a chance to sleep and breathe since the wedding weekend, to write you a sincere note about how amazingly wonderful my wedding with you guys was. I fully admit that I had my reservations since losing two Chefs as well as my event coordinator, as to how the whole thing was going to come together but I will also be the first to admit you guys literally BLEW my expectations off the planet! You took the vision I had in my head and made it so beautiful, and even though it was reality, it felt like I was the star of some gorgeous, surreal dream.
The setting out on the lawn took my breath (and ALL of my guest's breaths!) away and was so unbelievably stunning at that time of the evening; I just can’t wait to see the pictures because the lighting was like a gift from God! It was beyond spectacular…..the florals, the Chuppah, the chair arrangements with the simple white petals lining the asisle…every detail SO well executed. Even though I was in a bridal daze, I somehow took it all in!
And then the cocktail hour and reception....I partied as hard as I wanted (and that was pretty hard!)...literally danced all night after kicking my shoes off on the lawn after about 5 minutes! The room set-up turned out PERFECT, my bright green sweetheart table was PERFECT and it all just flowed so well. And if you will please pass this along to the Chef...I have NEVER in my life experienced food like that at a wedding. To say 5-star would not even do it justice. People were literally FREAKING out about the food ALL night!!!!! Gorging themselves on the small plates, buzzing about the Kobe burgers, and hovering around the raw bar! I have never seen anything like it! Not a single guest there could even believe the food and have literally not stopped talking about it since. The Chef and his staff outdid themselves. And as I mentioned so many times, I am IN the restaurant industry, was a Personal Chef and had SUCH a vested interest in the food, and I was blown away. Honestly, there are no words that can I can write that will be able to say how amazing that food was and how impressed and dumbfounded people were!
To sum it all up, it was, to say the least, the best night of my entire life. I am literally crying as I write this. I speak for myself and my new husband, my parents, my in-laws and ALL of my friends and family when I say Kudos to you and your staff. You knocked it out of the park and there were countless, countless people who said it was, bar none, the best wedding they had ever been to in their lives. Even better than ones in their own families!!!! Words will never be able to say how grateful I am to you and your team and everyone for giving me the best night and what has become the memory of a lifetime for me and Jamie. I can only hope our future is as bright, beautiful and filled with love as our wedding!

This was my dream wedding!! I LOVED this venue. My husband and I spend a ton of time on the Bay and knew that we wanted to get married on the water so from the moment I walked in...I knew this was where I was getting married. The location itself is gorgeous, quiet and we were the only wedding there. Being the only wedding made less stress and worry that vendors would go to the wrong wedding and things would be misplaced. The price was better than some other venues on the Bay too. The food...ooh the food!! I cannot say enough about the food. My husband and I are "foodies" so it was VERY important to us to have good food. I didn't want anyone to walk away and say the food was bad or was just ok. In my experience, most wedding food is bland because it is being mass produced. People are still talking about the food. If the rating could go to a 20, I would have put it there. We had salad, filet and crab cakes with a mushroom risotto and veggies. The chef catered to anyone who had allergies to food perfectly. We had a dedicated vegan, a gluten free order, and someone allergic to raspberries. The chef did a wonderful job with making sure everyone was happy. The chef was willing to do WHATEVER we wanted and also gave us some suggestions which I welcomed but did not feel pressure to use. It was delicious!! It truly was some of the best food I've had.
The staff at Silver Swan was fantastic as well. They were prompt at returning phone calls and emails. They answered all of my questions without making me feel like a crazy bride. They did some staff changing which at first was concerning but they said not to worry and it was for the best. They were right! Everything went smoothly the day of that I really couldn't believe it. Everyone says something always happens and it didn't. It was perfect! I could not have asked for anything better. Just an example..I had my now step-children a part of the wedding and when it was time for them to go, Silver Swan made up goodie bags for them. It was an extra that they did not need to do but did anyway. It really was a wonderful touch.

Thank you very much for putting on a spectacular wedding for Jonathon and I last month! Despite the unbearable heat, it truly was a dream come true – and very memorable at that!
We have received nothing but wonderful feedback from our guests, especially about the food and atmosphere Silver Swan provides. Please pass along my gratitude to the rest of your staff as well, who did everything in their power to accommodate our family and guests, and made every attempt to keep people cool and comfortable as possible!
We are very impressed by the hard work that went into the event and will be sure to send some pictures soon!

All the staff at Silver Swan! We had an amazing wedding thanks to each and every one of you! The food was fabulous! Friends and Family are still raving about it! Just wanted to take the time to sincerely thank you for putting on the best wedding my daughter could wish for. The event manager did a fantastic job! Not only was she compassionate with making sure that the wedding went smoothly and beautifully but she went out of her way to meet us first thing in the AM on our wedding day so that we could set up the venue. The time, energy, and compassion she put into our special day can’t be topped … she was the best we could ask for!
The food – the Chef made a fantastic meal for our guests and we received so many complements about how wonderful the food was. The presentation, quality, and taste were just amazing!
I was quite pleased and excited when we came to the venue back in August 2010 and thought the place was wonderful. I did not understand why the change of hands took place but sure Silver Swan had their reasons. The changes that are now in place and took place right down to the wire for our “special day” did pay off in the end. We would not have changed a thing if we could looking back and we “Thank You” very much!!
